Creating Conversations for Change

...is a guide for everyone who wishes to engage people in community building experiences and change, using collaborative methods that build on people's own experiences and create ownership and responsibility

This guide will:

  • Help you understand the importance of talking and listening and how to use the questions that arise in conversations in a constructive way, as catalysts for change
  • Provide you with a range of techniques and methods – such as the World Café and Open Space – to prepare for and facilitate group learning experiences in an inclusive way
  • Give you tips on how to collect ('harvest') the results of the conversations and organise them in a useful way
  • Point you towards a series of valuable resources with more information on participatory methods
